While the density of pubs and bars in Dublin is impressive in itself, what impresses a visitor to the Irish party capital even more is the density of live music events in these pubs and the open, friendly atmosphere. The main party drag in Dublin is called Temple Bar, and the best time to visit is undoubtedly around March 17 when the Irish national holiday St. Patrick's Day is celebrated with parades, street dancing in Temple Bar, and lots and lots of Guinness.
"As a city with a large population of young people, both natives and students, not to mention a constant influx of young, up-for-it tourists all keen to party the Irish way, it comes as no surprise that clubbing features high in Dublin social life. The dance scene has been well developed in recent years." (Dublintourist.com)
Been there, done that?
Does Dublin have the worlds best parties?
