The Verzasca Dam became a world famous bungee jumping destination after the opening scene of the James Bond movie GoldenEye was shot here in 1995. At a height of 220 meters (722 feet), the dam is among the highest bungee jumping sites in the world and a truly amazing place to experience the thrill of the sport.
"In the service of her Majesty, actor Pierce Brosnan as 007, suspended by a bungee cord, jumped into the void. Some 13 million movie goers breathlessly watched his daring jump. Not fool-hardy, but well-secured, you too can experience the thrill of the "Goldeneye-007-Bungy-Jump". Hurtle down at 160 km/h. In 7.5 seconds it's all over anyway." (Myswitzerland.com)
Been there, done that?
