Kruger National Park in South Africa is perhaps the most visited and most photographed big game reserve in the world. It is also more developed for touristic safaris than most other African parks. Covering roughly 20,000 square kilometers (7,700 square miles), Kruger is divided in 14 different zones, each supporting different kinds of wildlife.
According to the official website for South African National Parks, Kruger National Park offers a wildlife experience that ranks with the best in Africa. "Truly the flagship of the South African national parks, Kruger is home to an impressive number of species: 336 trees, 49 fish, 34 amphibians, 114 reptiles, 507 birds and 147 mammals." (Sanparks.org)

I have to say I found the Serengeti in Tanzania to be awesome for wildlife. Not been to Kruger. But have also been to Tarangire, Ngorongoro - and my bext experience of the three was Serengeti. Less tourists there and you felt more remote. One day I'll get to Kruger though.
